Stanford is a campus of personal growth, embracing diversity and learning from it.

Stanford University’s Office for Inclusion, Belonging and Intergroup Communication (IBIC) works to build communication and understanding across difference. Our programs include curricular and co-curricular courses, educational workshops, training and consulting. We aim to cultivate an environment that not only acknowledges the diversity on Stanford's campus but also provides the adequate tools, resources, and opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to better communicate and learn from one another's backgrounds.

Mission & Vision

Our Mission is to engage students and those who work with students in continuous learning and praxis toward social justice, liberation and a sense of belonging amongst the diverse members of the Stanford University community.

Our Vision is to inspire and nurture a more equitable world. Specifically, our work strives to help students navigate a diverse and ideologically complex world, where they will be charged with making purposeful impact.
