Sosi grew up in Los Angeles and Jakarta. Her experience moving away from and back to the United States sparked her fascination in intergroup communication early on, and she hopes to engage Stanford students in meaningful dialogue about identity and power. Though she is still (very) unsure where her interests will take her, Sosi hopes her future includes working in a preschool and further exploring how children learn to conceptualize social categories like race and gender. Sosi enjoys baking Armenian desserts, reading, making clothes and jewelry, and meeting new people in her free time.
