Apply to the Peer Facilitation Program

Main content start

The program includes two quarters of learning and development-- Winter and Spring 2023. The program will launch with a full-day retreat during the first week of winter quarter. For the remainder of winter quarter, IBIC professional and student staff will lead weekly, two-hour sessions on equity-based facilitation basics. We will gather each week to grow our skills and to build community. During spring quarter, in addition to weekly gatherings, trainees will co-facilitate supervised DEIJ workshops with student groups and organizations.

During the program (winter and spring 2023), trainees will receive a stipend of $450 per quarter. Trainees who advance to peer facilitators will become IBIC staff, earning an hourly wage of $19.00.

Applications will be accepted through the Friday of Week 8, or November 18th. We hope to notify applicants regarding decisions by the end of Week 10 (December 9th).
