Apply to the Peer Facilitation Program

Main content start

The program includes two quarters of learning and development – Winter and Spring 2024. The program will launch with a retreat during the first week of winter quarter. For the remainder of winter quarter, IBIC professional and student staff will lead weekly, two-hour sessions on equity-based facilitation basics. We will gather each week to grow our skills and to build community.

During spring quarter, Peer-Facilitators-in-Training will co-facilitate supervised workshops related to diversity, inclusion, belonging, and equity (DIBE) among the PFP community. The program ends with an annual showcase where Peer-Facilitators-in-Training will have the opportunity to facilitate a large session for invited guests and campus partners.

Compensation
During the program (winter and spring 2024), Peer-Facilitators-in-Training will receive a stipend of ~$400 each quarter. Trainees who advance to become Peer Facilitators will become IBIC staff and earn an hourly wage.
