Apply to the Peer Facilitation Program
The program includes two quarters of learning and development – Winter and Spring 2025. The program will launch with a retreat during the first week of winter quarter. For the remainder of winter quarter, IBIC professional and student staff will lead weekly, two-hour sessions on facilitation basics. We will gather each week to grow our skills and to build community.
During spring quarter, Peer-Facilitators-in-Training will co-facilitate supervised workshops among the PFP community. The program ends with an annual showcase where Peer-Facilitators-in-Training will have the opportunity to facilitate a large session for invited guests and campus partners.
Compensation
During the program (winter and spring 2025), Peer-Facilitators-in-Training will receive $18.50/hour for a minimum of 1.5 hours each week for eight weeks across two quarters. Trainees who advance to become Peer Facilitators in 2025-2026 will become IBIC staff and also earn an hourly wage.
